сентября 13 Talking about Man tries to open jet’s exit door mid-flight - U.S. Security - MSNBC.com
Just goes to show you that crazy people are everywhere. Sounds like this one was easy to spot though, unlike the crazy-azz people who only reveal themselves to you after you've been in a relationship of some sort with them. But I digress. That's another blog for another day. All I know is that crazy people on commercial airliners is almost always a bad idea. I can't wait to see what test the FAA comes up with to screen for crazy people at the security gate. Quote Man tries to open jet’s exit door mid-flight - U.S. Security - MSNBC.com сентября 08 Ok, That Was WeirdI had just written what I thought was a very good post critical of the Bush Administration, 9/11, Iraq, United 93 and Katrina. I clicked on Publish Entry and POOF, it disappeared.
So, here are the highlights, cliff notes version:
1. Yes, Bush used 9/11 as the reason to invade Iraq and Afghanistan
2. Yes, 9/11 was an inside job or at least, The Bush administration was a willing accomplice
3. I am hurt that Colin Powell lied to me about WMD.
4. I never believed that there were ever any WMDs in the first place.
5. Yes, the Bush Administration worked out some kind of shady deal with Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and the Bin Ladin family to let 9/11 slide
6. No, I don't think that Osama will ever be captured, nor were they ever really looking for him
7. No, I don't believe that the passengers of United 93 took over the plane. I think that it's some nice Tom Clancy type story to make us feel better and to "keep hope alive."
8. Yes, I believe that the levees in New Orleans were intentionally blown up!
9. Yes, I agree that Bush doesn't care about black people. Still no props to Kanye though, he just stated the obvious.
10. Yes, I believe that the Bush administration relates to black people like an elephant relates to a knat on its azz!
11. Yes, I believe that all of the news on tv these days needs a Buck Rogers decoder ring to be deciphered.
12. Yes, if this isn't the New World Order, Last Days, Apocalypse, or whatever, someone is sure trying to make us think that it is.
августа 15 Talking about Mystery 9/11 rescuer reveals himself - U.S. Life - MSNBC.com Not trying to make this racial and all, but I suppose that I am. In the movie World Trade Center, there is a scene where two Marines go into Ground Zero and pull two Port Authority Police Officers from the rubble. The producers of this movie knew the identity of one of the Marines, but knew the other as only Sgt. Thomas. Well, turns out that good ol' Sgt. Thomas is actually a brother and not a white dude as he was cast in the movie. Call me petty, but now I wish that I hadn't even spent my $6.50 to go see the movie in the first place! I've been hoodwinked, bamboozled, run amuck and led astray. Quote Mystery 9/11 rescuer reveals himself - U.S. Life - MSNBC.com августа 07 Flavor of Love 2: Revenge of the Hood RatIs it me or is the hood rat over-represented in Flavor or Love 2? This show is Mean Girls Meets BET Uncut! Flavor of Love 2 seems to feature varying degrees of the same hood rat, you know, kind of like from slight to X-treme. I suppose that it says something about your character anyway if you're on some tv show competing for Flavor Flav in the first place, but sheesh, c'mon ladies... You're really making women look HORRIBLE!
I watched all last season and my favorite character was New York. New York was sooooooooooooo over the top in every way. I used to kind of laugh at her until the episode when her mother came on the show. Then it all made sense to me. Her mother struck me as every daughter's nightmare. Domineering, unsupportive, emotionally abusive, arrogant, rude, condescending, etc. I could see how she made New York attempt to live up to some imaginary standard probably her entire life, and each time her daughter would get close, she would move the bar, (not raise it) to another unreachable level. NY seemed to wreak of insecurity and uncertain and unfulfilled self-worth. Oh, she tried to mask it with layers of make-up, weaves, nice clothes and any of the other superficial accoutrements, but underneath, there was just a very vulnerable, defensive, and scared little girl. Not scared, like of people, but scared of confronting the person that her mother told her that she was... Her mother is really cruel and pretty much phucked up another sister! Much props to NY, however, for attempting to give Pumkin (Nasty, Trailer Rat) the beat down whenever possible. I would pay money to watch NY and her box.
Ok, now on to the new crop of hood rats! Let's start with the ghetto chick who got into a fight with the white girl from Houston. GHETTO to the third power. You should have heard this girl's prayer. She basically said "please forgive me Lord for beating this bytch's azz" or something like that. When the white chick interrupted her she was like "don't interrupt me anymore or the Lord will direct me to whup your azz." Just Crazy! The whyte chick had this look on her face like "what have I gotten myself into?" Then there is another chick on the show who actually took a dump on the floor and stairs. Sorry, but that's just plain disturbing. Now granted, those are just the extreme cases, but the remaining women seem to be just as screwed up in their own ways. Completely unsure of how to compete for Flav
There seems to be a couple of women on the show that one may actually consider taking home to Momma, but believe me, they are in the minority. I understand this is tv and all, but the images coming across to me as a man are not very flattering to women. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and just say that they just reeeeeeeeaaaaaalllly wanted to be on TV. But dayum, that's no excuse either! июля 28 Hey, Why Is My Check Engine Light On?Yup, it looks like another dirty trick brought to you by Big Oil and the crew. After a trip to the gas station this past Monday my check engine light came on and has remained on for the entire week. I have owned my truck for nearly five years and I have never had this problem before. So, all of this week I have been brainstorming on when and where I needed to take my truck in for service.
Randomly, this morning while getting coffe in the break room at work, I overheard a conversation between a couple of co-workers concerning, you guessed it, the "check engine light" in their vehicles came on recently. One of them had taken their car in for a dignostic check. She was told that it was some sort of fuel sensor issue. Apparently, the regular gas that we're buying now is a lower octane. Perhaps even less than the 87 grade that's recommended by car manufacturers.
I checked with another co-waorker a few minutes ago and he said that his check engine light came on this week too but since he switched back to premium, the problem has gone away. Premium is probably nothing more than regular.
The short term solution seems to be to use gas treatment and to switch to the premium grade. STAY AWAY FROM REGULAR or if you use it you will need to use it in conjuction with a bottle of fuel treatment. Dayum, what's next??? июля 21 In The End Just Blame Greed!I would bet money that higher gas prices, unemployment, increased crime rate, and eventually war can all be traced back to some greedy, wealthy, bastards who wanted to make even more money for themselves. Now, this is an oversimplistic analysis, but hopefully, I will be able to articulate my theory effectively.
It's all about greed. Some wealthy, greedy bastard looked over all of the potential markets of the world and said "you know, if I can sell some shyt to that country or produce some shyt dirt cheap over there and sell it back to the consumers over here, I can get paid! Not, we can all get paid, but I can get paid. No doubt that Bill Gates once said this, but now he's made sooooooo much money that he's trying to give it all back. He's not the first to attempt this and that's not the point that I'm trying to make in this post. Besides, he probably will be unable to give all of his money away in his lifetime anyway.
No, this is my point. Some wealthy, greedy bastard said, "hey, I can farm this work out to India for a fraction of the cost that it requires to produce here in the US and get paid!" What about the employees that currently handle that production? "Hmmm... not my problem. They'll be alright, I guess. I'm getting paid."
So the work goes out to a place like India or China and almost overnight a new middle class forms in those countries. A middle class with the same needs and desires as the middle class in any other industrialized nation. But here's the thing. What about supply and demand? Did you stop to think that those are the two most populated countries in the world? Of course you did. That's what drove your greed in the first place. You equated each person in those nations with a dollar sign.
One of the first things that I did when I could afford it was purchase a car. It sure beats the hell out of riding a bike everywhere all of the time. And as hot as it must be in India, I'm sure that riding a bike got old really quick! Same thing in those countries. You have Chinese and Indians buying up lots of oil. Only a limited supply of that stuff so naturally prices go up. Now, we're paying $3 and up for a gallon of gas. That's while we still have an income. If production continues to be exported, what will we do for income? It's hard to consume when you don't have any money coming in. No work = No income. No income = No bills getting paid. No one paying bills = no commerce. No commerce = no need for employees. So everything will eventually collapse. Defaulting on loans of all kind and in short no trade whatsoever. No income will produce more frustration, a weak economy, crime, chaos, famine, and on and on... Historically, those are some of the conditions that contribute to the rise of groups like the Third Reich, Bolsheviks, and even the French Revolution. When the masses are suffering and the gap between the haves and have nots reaches a point of "I just can't take this shyt anymore", it only takes a few smooth talking leaders or even just one to tell the people what they want to hear, and then it's on.
Bu this won't affect the wealthy, greedy bastards who started this whole thing. Not today, anyway. If you're a billionaire, then what's $3 per gallon for gas to you? You probably are completely disconnected from such a small detail. Furthermore, you're the only one getting paid. Just like you predicted that you would. But for the millions of us in the mainstream, well, we're just screwed. I don't know about you, but I think that I may go look at some bikes at Walmart this weekend. I may even get an application. Do they still offer employee discounts? июля 05 Talking about Enron’s Ken Lay is dead - The Enron Trial - MSNBC.com
Sorry, but I am skeptical. C'mon man, one month after getting convicted and the guy just drops dead? One of the Presidents friends at that? Nope. I want an autopsy. I want indisputable and irrefutable evidence that the man is dead. Here's my theory. Conspirators: If convicted Ken Lay we will fake your death, give you a new identity, and you will live happily ever after. Ken Lay: Cool. You know, kind of like a witness protection program for Kingpin Corporate Crooks. Particularly, those with ties to the Bush administration. Is this scenario really that far-fetched????
